My name is Kainoa Ah Quin. I am a senior at Kamehameha Schools and a current student in the Malama Honua class at Kamehameha. I enjoy the outdoors and doing hands-on things. Besides the fact that I am in the sustainability class, I am a firm believer in conserving our natural resources and saving our native plants and animals. When I grow up I want to work in land and wildlife conservation, and do things that will help our environment. Having the opportunity to be in the Malama Honua class and learn more in depth about sustainability is awesome and I can't wait to share some of our own knowledge with others!
Salutations. My name is Kahiau Machado. I just like Kainoa Ah Quin am a senior at Kamehameha Schools and am her classmate in the Malama Honua class taught by Christopher Blake. I enjoy caring for my ‘aina by picking up trash I see that has been littered. When I grow up, I want to become an Environmental Engineer and help communities become more sustainable.
My name is Andrea Chang. I am currently a senior at Kamehameha and am taking a new science course called malama honua. I love community service and food. Born and raised in O'ahu. There is a lot of things that I see in the world that I know we need to change. This class is teaching us where to start.

I'm Kylie Moore and I am a junior at Kamehameha Schools. This year, I was fortunate enough to take the Mālama Houna course. This has been an amazing opportunity for me to expand my knowledge on sustainable living. I was born in Orange County, California and raised in Kailua on O‘ahu. Since I was really young, I've had a love and curiosity for the way things grow and their part in the ecosystem. The Mālama Honua course has raised my awareness on the condition of our planet and inspired me to want to take action for the good of its inhabitants. When I grow up, I hope to inspire others to make the changes necessary to allow our planet to flourish, in anyway I can and live a clean, sustainable life.
